Afghanistan Reports 83 New COVID-19 Cases in 24 Hours

Ministry of Public Health reported Saturday, that out of 978 samples, 83 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.

At least 192,113 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 7,950 known active cases in the country.

According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 260 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and 10 individuals are reported dead.

The new cases recorded in Kabul are 25, Kandahar Two, Balkh Two, Takhar Seven, Paktya Five, Baghlan Six, Parwan Two, Nimroz Seven, Ghazni One, Badakhshan One, Logar One, Helmand Three, Khost Two, Uruzgan 2, Paktika 12, and Faryab Two.

The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 51,847, Total deaths are 2,158 and the total recoveries are recorded 41,012.

COVID-19 global toll has increased to 79,917,523 and the dead are reported to more than 1,751,864 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
