10 monitoring teams working to combat spread of dengue

Ten monitoring teams under the Local Government Division are working to control dengue spread across Bangladesh, particularly in Dhaka and other major cities. From January to October 9, 2024, the country recorded 39,822 dengue cases and 196 deaths. Dhaka South City Corporation reported the highest numbers with 8,657 cases and 106 deaths.
