Thirteen Bangladeshi nationals, including four children, returned home through Benapole check post after two years of imprisonment in India. They were victims of human trafficking, lured to Kolkata with false job promises. Arrested and sentenced to two years in jail, they were later sheltered by a human rights organization. Indian authorities handed them over to Bangladeshi immigration police. An NGO, Justice Care, will now help reunite them with their families. Daily Star
