15 killed as goods train rams into Kanchanjunga Express in West Bengal

At least 15 passengers died and 60 were injured when three coaches of the stationary Kanchanjunga Express derailed after being hit by a goods train in West Bengal’s Darjeeling district. Rescue efforts are underway, with the Prime Minister announcing compensation for the victims’ families and the injured. The Railway Minister visited the site to oversee relief operations.
