2 suspected looters beaten to death in Dinajpur

Two people, including a teenager, were beaten to death by a mob in Dinajpur, Bangladesh, after allegedly attempting to steal a battery-powered easy bike. The victims, Shuvo Meraz (20) and Md Tareq (17), reportedly stabbed the bike driver during the theft attempt. Villagers caught and severely beat them. They were taken to a local hospital but were declared dead on arrival. Police are investigating the incident. Daily Star
