20 films, 6 short films receive government grant 2023-2024

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced government grants for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. 20 full-length films received a total of Tk 14 crore, while 6 short films were granted Tk 1.2 crore. The grants aim to support films promoting independence, the liberation war, humanistic values, and artistic creativity. Films directed by renowned directors like Piplu R Khan, Nargis Akhter, and Manoj Pramanik secured funding in various categories.
