23 Bangladeshis rescued in Libya

Libya’s Criminal Investigation Department rescued 23 kidnapped Bangladeshis during a raid in Misrata, according to the Bangladesh Embassy in Tripoli. Two suspected kidnappers were arrested during the operation, which followed an investigation into complaints of foreign nationals being tortured for ransom. The rescued individuals were transferred to Al Giran police for legal procedures.
