42 cops killed during recent movement: IGP

Newly appointed IGP Md Mainul Islam reported that 42 police members, including three inspectors and two RAB members, were killed during recent student protests. Over 500 officers received treatment, with 27 still hospitalized. However, the student movement, which led to Sheikh Hasina’s government’s fall, resulted in over 400 deaths, mostly protesters.
