48-hour transport strike in Ctg called from tomorrow

Transport owners and workers in Chattogram have called a 48-hour strike from tomorrow morning, demanding compensation for buses burnt by students of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), among other demands. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Greater Chattogram Public Transports’ Owners and Workers Unity, chaired by its convener Manjur Alam Chowdhury. The strike will begin at 6:00 am on Sunday.
