6 burnt in fire at Gazipur ceramics factory

Six people were severely burned in a gas explosion at Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd in Gazipur’s Kashimpur upazila. The incident occurred around 9:00pm when contractual workers were repairing a gas cylinder. The victims, with burn injuries ranging from 2% to 44%, were admitted to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka. Fire service officials confirmed the explosion, while hospital authorities reported that the injured are under observation in the emergency department.READ FULL
