Hindu community leader ‘beaten to death after abduction’ in Dinajpur

Bhabesh Chandra Roy, 58, a Hindu community leader, was abducted from his home in Biral upazila and beaten to death yesterday. Four men on motorcycles took him from his residence after confirming his presence with a phone call. His body was later returned, and he was declared dead at the hospital.
