Liton named Bangladesh T20 captain till 2026 T20 WC

Liton Das has been appointed Bangladesh T20I captain until T20 World Cup 2026, replacing Najmul Hossain Shanto who remains captain for other formats. The 30-year-old wicketkeeper-batter, who previously led Bangladesh to a 3-0 T20I series win against West Indies, will begin with upcoming UAE and Pakistan series.
