Former Union Parishad chairman shot dead in Narail

A former Union Parishad chairman and Awami League leader, Sikder Mostafa Kamal, was shot dead by miscreants in Narail’s Lohagara upazila last night around 7:30 pm while returning home from the local bazaar. He sustained bullet wounds to the chest and died on the way to Dhaka around 10:30 pm. The incident triggered clashes between rival groups, leaving two injured, one with a bullet wound.
