Questions have arisen over whether false recommendations from three army officials were used to help former army chief Aziz Ahmed’s brother, Haris Ahmed, obtain a national ID card under a fake identity as Mohammad Hasan. Documents show Haris provided false parental information. One of the allegedly involved officials denied making any recommendation, while another said his signature seemed forged.
