Algerian film industry vies for revival after decades of neglect
Algerian cinema, once thriving in the 1960s and 70s, has fallen into decline due to economic, political, and cultural crises. The opening of a large multiplex cinema in Algiers suggests a glimmer of hope for the future of Algerian cinema.(photo/afp)
