Orpita treble leads Bangladesh to third straight win

The Bangladesh women’s U-21 hockey team strengthened their lead in the Women’s Junior AHF Cup points table with a commanding 7-2 victory over Sri Lanka in Singapore. Orpita Pal’s hat-trick and goals from Riya, Nadira, Sonia Khatun, and another from Orpita secured the win, Bangladesh’s third successive triumph in the tournament. With nine points, they now lead Chinese Taipei by three points, boosting their hopes of qualifying for the Women’s Junior Asia Cup.
