Andalib Elias named as new Bangladesh high commissioner to Sri Lan

The Bangladesh government has appointed Andalib Elias as the new high commissioner to Sri Lanka, replacing Tareq Md Ariful Islam. Elias, currently serving as deputy high commissioner in Kolkata, is a career diplomat from the 20th batch of BCS (foreign affairs). He has served in various diplomatic roles in Geneva, New York, Manila, and Brussels. Elias specializes in trade, development, climate change, and migration.
