Dhaka elevated expressway: Project stalled for financial, legal disputes

Construction of the Dhaka elevated expressway has stalled for months due to financial and legal disputes among stakeholders. The project spans 19.73 kilometers from Kawla to Kutubkhali. The operating entity, First Dhaka Elevated Expressway Company Limited, admitted to share disputes and funding issues but hopes to resume work by August. The project is a public-private partnership involving companies from China, Thailand, and Bangladesh.
