Country may see light to moderate rain over next 24hrs: BMD

Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasts widespread rain across the country in the next 24 hours. Light to moderate showers with gusty winds are expected in most divisions, with heavy rainfall possible in Rangpur. Jashore recorded 120mm rainfall in the past day. Temperatures may rise slightly. Pabna’s Ishwardi saw the highest temperature at 34.2°C, while Bandarban had the lowest at 24.3°C. The monsoon remains active over Bangladesh. Source UNB
