Incorporate psychological tests while appointing BRTC drivers: JS body

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Road Transport and Bridges Ministry recommended psychological tests for BRTC drivers and increased monitoring of licensing. They discussed BRTC’s operations, finances, and challenges. The committee also reviewed road construction progress in Kishoreganj district, urging swift completion of the Morichakhali-Mithamain express-road and Kishoreganj-Dhaka connecting roads. Additionally, they advised making ferry services more affordable to reduce public inconvenience. These recommendations aim to improve transportation safety and efficiency in Bangladesh. Daily Star
