Dhaka Court orders to seize all assets of Matiur, family members

A Dhaka court ordered the confiscation of properties belonging to former NBR official Matiur Rahman and his family amid graft allegations. The seized assets include over 2,300 decimals of land, four flats, and Tk 13.44 crore in bank accounts. The Anti-Corruption Commission requested the action to prevent asset transfer and money laundering. Earlier, the court imposed a travel ban on Rahman and his family. Source UNB
