Long Covid Symptoms To Last Longer In Pregnant Women: Study
A study published in Obstetrics & Gynecology reveals that about 1 in 10 women who contract COVID-19 during pregnancy experience long-term symptoms. These include fatigue, gastrointestinal issues, and feeling drained. The study, involving 1,500 participants, found 9.3% reported long-term symptoms six months post-infection. Researchers urge obstetricians to be vigilant, as these symptoms can overlap with pregnancy-related issues. The findings were confirmed in a secondary study of postpartum women.
