10 Minute School: Startup Bangladesh cancels Tk 50m investment proposal

State-sponsored venture capital fund Startup Bangladesh has cancelled its Tk 50 million investment proposal for 10 Minute School, a leading online Edtech startup in Bangladesh. The announcement was made on Startup Bangladesh’s Facebook page and confirmed by State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak. This decision comes shortly after 10 Minute School’s CEO, Ayman Sadiq, publicly supported ongoing student protests for quota reform in government jobs and criticized Bangladesh Chhatra League’s attack on protesters at Dhaka University.
