More than 50pc mosquito eradication workers absent

In Dhaka’s Mohammadpur area, only 8 out of the 17 workers for the mosquito eradication program were present on a recent Tuesday. Several workers were found resting or watching videos instead of carrying out their duties. The program lacks proper supervision, with the assigned supervisor on leave. The workers also lack proper equipment to measure larvicide, relying on makeshift methods.
