Kobe Bryant locker sells for $2.9 mn at auction

Kobe Bryant’s locker from Staples Center sold for $2.9 million at Sotheby’s auction, nearly doubling its estimate. The locker, used during Bryant’s 20-year Lakers career, was saved from disposal in 2018. The high price reflects Bryant’s enduring legacy following his tragic death in 2020.
