Attacks on Hindu houses, temples, businesses go on
Following the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government in Bangladesh, widespread violence against Hindu communities erupted across at least 27 districts. Attacks included burning homes, vandalizing temples, and destroying property. In Dhaka, a musician’s ancestral home was torched. Temples in Shariatpur and Patuakhali were ransacked. Hindu-owned businesses and residences in various districts faced looting and arson. Law enforcement was largely absent, leaving minority communities vulnerable and in a state of panic. Daily Star
