Had a ‘fruitful meeting’ at Bangabhaban: Nahid

Student leaders of the Anti-Discriminatory Movement met with President Shahabuddin, proposing an interim government led by Prof Yunus as chief adviser. They presented a preliminary list of 10-15 members and received assurances their proposal would be finalized. The meeting, attended by armed forces chiefs and university professors, lasted four hours. Student leader Nahid Islam urged for peace and protection of government structures and minorities amid the ongoing political situation.
