Mainul Hasan new DMP commissioner; Shahidur Rahman RAB DG

Bangladesh’s home ministry announced key changes in top police positions. Additional IGP Mainul Hasan has been appointed as the new Dhaka Metropolitan Police commissioner, replacing Habibur Rahman. AKM Shahidur Rahman, another Additional IGP, is now the new director general of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), taking over from Harun or Rashid.
