New IGP to hold press briefing at 3:00pm

Newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam is set to hold a press briefing at 3:00pm at police headquarters. He will address Bangladesh’s current situation. Mainul was appointed as the new IGP, replacing Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, as per a circular from the Home Ministry’s Public Security Division.
