Eng Sheikh Muhammad Shahidullah passes away

Engineer Sheikh Muhammad Shahidullah, convener of the National Committee to Protect Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources, Power and Ports, has died at 93 in the US. Born in 1931 in Khulna, he excelled academically, graduating with honors in Civil Engineering in 1954. Shahidullah became a renowned engineer, contributing to important structures across Bangladesh. Though not politically active, he sympathized with leftist groups. He was known for his intellect, skills, and dedication to his profession. Dhaka Tribune
