New chief justice pays tributes to martyrs

Newly appointed Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed paid respects at two significant national monuments today. He laid wreaths at the National Memorial in Savar to honor Liberation War martyrs and at the Central Shaheed Minar for Language Movement martyrs. At the Shaheed Minar, he also paid tribute to those who died in the quota reform movement and subsequent anti-government protests. Supreme Court judges and officials accompanied him during these visits.
