Taylor Swift’s new album breaks Spotify record

Taylor Swift’s new album “The Tortured Poets Department” (TTPD) broke multiple streaming records on its release day of April 19th. It became the most-streamed album in a single day on Spotify, and Swift became the most-streamed artist in a single day on the platform. The 31-track album, an anthology reflecting heartbreak, also had the most pre-saves on Spotify’s Album Countdown Page.
