Probe body formed to investigate idol vandalism at Dhaka College

Dhaka College authorities formed a probe committee, led by Prof AKM Elius, to investigate the vandalism of a Hindu temple at the college’s West Hostel. Miscreants reportedly damaged an idol and stole valuables on Saturday. Hindu students protested and submitted a written complaint demanding justice. College teachers visited the site and assured students of action. The Anti-Discrimination Students’ Movement condemned the incident and called for punishment of the perpetrators.
