JU pro-VC, treasurer resign

Two top officials of Jahangirnagar University (JU) have resigned from their positions. Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof Sheikh Md Manzurul Huq and Treasurer Prof Rasheda Akhtar submitted their resignation letters via email to President Mohammed Shahabuddin, who also serves as the university’s Chancellor. According to Deputy Registrar AB M Azizur Rahman, both officials cited the country’s “current situation” as the reason for their resignations.
