Gaza journalist killed in alleged Israeli fire

Palestinian journalist Ibrahim Muharab was reportedly killed by Israeli fire in southern Gaza, according to Hamas-run health ministry and Palestinian Daily News. Two other journalists were wounded. The Israeli army declined to comment without specific details but stated they never deliberately target journalists. The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate condemned the incident as an “assassination.” The Committee to Protect Journalists reports at least 113 media workers have been killed since the Israel-Hamas war began in October, marking the deadliest period for journalists since 1992.
