Papon calls BCB meeting on Wednesday

BCB president Nazmul Hassan Papon has called a board meeting for Wednesday, where he is expected to announce his resignation. The meeting will be held at the Youth and Sports Ministry, with directors attending in person and virtually. Former captain Faruque Ahmed is rumored to be the frontrunner to replace Papon. This follows the recent resignation of NSC-nominated director Jalal Yunus, while another, Ahmed Sajjadul Alam Bobby, has yet to step down despite being asked.
