Former Dhaka-13 MP Sadek Khan arrested

Police arrested Sadek Khan, former Awami League lawmaker for Dhaka-13, in West Nakhalpara, Dhaka. The arrest is linked to a murder case filed on August 22 at Mohammadpur Police Station. Khan, elected to parliament in 2018, did not receive his party’s nomination for the January 2024 election. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police confirmed the arrest via WhatsApp. Daily Star
