Chinese ambassador seeks security for 9,000 citizens living in Bangladesh

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen met with Agriculture Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, requesting security for approximately 9,000 Chinese citizens living in Bangladesh. The adviser assured assistance would be provided as needed. In return, Bangladesh sought China’s help with flood relief efforts in affected districts.
