3 ex-chief justices sued for violating Contempt of Courts Act

Supreme Court lawyer Yunus Ali Akand has filed a case against seven former Appellate Division judges, including three ex-chief justices, for allegedly violating the Contempt of Courts Act. Akand claims they abused power by punishing him for contempt without a proper hearing in 2020, suspending his practice and imposing a fine.
