Student coordinator appointed special assistant to chief adviser

Mahfuz Alam has been appointed as special assistant to Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus, with secretary status on a contractual basis. The public administration ministry announced that Mahfuz will serve for the duration of the chief adviser’s term or until satisfaction, provided he renounces other work commitments. Mahfuz, a law student at Dhaka University and coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement’s liaison committee, will start his role from the date of joining.
