Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader criticized BNP for failing to acknowledge Bangladesh’s development, stating they “see darkness in daylight.” He urged BNP to learn from Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif’s remarks praising Bangladesh’s economic progress, which Sharif said Pakistan feels “shame” about, contrasting with when Bangladesh was considered a “burden” for Pakistan.
