Prof Kamrul Ahsan appointed as acting VC of JU

Professor Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan from the Department of Philosophy has been appointed as the acting vice-chancellor of Jahangirnagar University. The appointment, approved by the president and chancellor, is effective immediately. Dr Ahsan will receive his current salary and benefits, and must be present on campus at all times as the university’s chief executive officer.
