Heatwave: After fiery April, milder May beckons

After the longest heatwave in Bangladesh’s recorded history, relief is expected in May with rainfall and shorter heatwave spells, though slightly humid conditions may persist. The Bangladesh Meteorological Department forecasts rain and thundershowers from May 2 to 8, followed by milder heatwaves.
