BGB-BSF meeting decides to return 200 acres of land to Bangladesh

Bangladesh and India have agreed to resurvey and return about 200 acres of land to Bangladesh, which was lost due to erosion along the Padma River in Kushtia’s Daulatpur border. The decision was made during a meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh and India’s Border Security Force. The land dispute arose from river course changes and natural disasters affecting border pillars. Officials also discussed preventing border killings and drug trafficking.
