Shabnam declines offer to join Bangladesh Film Certification Board

Veteran actress Shabnam, 79, was offered a position on the newly renamed Bangladesh Film Certification Board but declined due to health reasons. The board, formerly known as the Film Censor Board, approached Shabnam to fill one of two vacant positions following recent resignations. Despite being honored by the offer, Shabnam explained that her current health condition and regular doctor visits prevent her from taking on such responsibilities.
