BGB detains Indian for illegal border crossing in Lalmonirhat

Border Guard Bangladesh detained Indian citizen Md Mozaffar Hossain, 48, for illegally crossing the border in Lalmonirhat. Acting on a tip-off, BGB intercepted two suspicious individuals 600 yards inside Bangladesh. When questioned, one fled back to India while Hossain was apprehended. Initially claiming to be Bangladeshi, he later admitted his Indian citizenship. Hossain was handed over to local police, and a case has been filed for illegal entry into Bangladesh.READ FULL
