Plot to kill Joy: Mahmudur Rahman gets bail

Mahmudur Rahman, acting editor of Amar Desh, was granted bail in a case involving an alleged plot to abduct and kill Sajeeb Wazed Joy, son of former PM Sheikh Hasina. Rahman had recently returned to Bangladesh after 5.5 years in exile. He was previously sentenced to 7 years in prison, along with several others, for this case. The plot allegedly involved BNP leaders and was uncovered in 2015.READ FULL
