Floods cause Tk 14,421 crore damage in eastern Bangladesh: CPD study

A study by the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) estimates recent floods in eastern Bangladesh caused $1.20 billion in damage, affecting 11 districts. The agriculture and forestry sectors were hit hardest, followed by infrastructure and housing. Noakhali suffered the highest monetary losses.
