Turkey says will evacuate citizens from Lebanon on Wednesday

Turkey has announced plans to evacuate approximately 2,000 of its citizens from Lebanon on Wednesday amid deteriorating security conditions. Two Turkish navy ships will depart from Mersin port on Tuesday heading to Beirut. Of the estimated 14,000 Turkish citizens registered in Lebanon, this initial evacuation will assist the first group.
