US says no excuse for violence in Bangladesh
The US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has stated that there is no excuse for violence in Bangladesh, emphasizing that those responsible should be held accountable. This comes in response to questions about the interim government’s decision not to file cases against participants in the July-August mass uprising. Miller also affirmed the US commitment to religious freedom in Bangladesh.
